The amount of consumed water and incontinence

In order to function correctly, the body needs a daily amount of liquids which cannot be forgotten even when suffering from incontinence.   Depending on the gender, age, ambient temperature or intensity of everyday tasks, the amount of required liquids may differ, however, the body is able to indicate when it needs more hydration.  So, it is worth reacting to tips from one’s own body but also remembering about a few important issues.

So, it is worth reacting to tips from one’s own body but also remembering about a few important issues.Remember: 
An adult person should drink 1.5-2 litres of liquids daily.  Periodically, during heatwaves, this amount should be increased. Drinking an adequate amount of liquids helps maintaining the correct functioning of kidneys. It is best to apply the rule of drinking as the need arises. In order to quench thirst, it is best to drink beverages which do not contain excessive calories - e.g. Still mineral water, spring water, herbal and fruit teas, chicory coffee, fat-free milk. Limiting incontinence by limiting drinking is a very unfavourable solution.  Forget about it.  Decreased amount of consumed liquids reduces urination but also reduces the bladder’s functional capacity which may lead to polyuria.  This means that pressing on the bladder will appear faster even when the bladder is only slightly filled. Drinking insufficient amounts of liquids may lead to the body’s dehydration which is especially dangerous in children and the elderly.
