Compress the walls of the cup so that the sides fold into a C fold or a Punch Down fold.
It will be easier if you choose a comfortable position. Insert the folded cup into your vagina. When you release the pressure, the cup will open, adhering to the walls. You can run your finger along the edge to check adherence.
Compress the base of the cup and use your finger to peel it off the walls of your cervix to remove the vacuum. Then, gently slide the cup out and empty it into the toilet.
Place the cup into a container and fill it with water. Put it in a microwave oven without a lid at 850 W for 5 minutes. That’s it! Remove it carefully. You can also scald the cup in boiling water for about 3 minutes.

With the container, washing the menstrual cup will take just a few seconds. Place the cup in a container. Pour warm or cold water into the cup, close it and shake it vigorously for a few seconds. You can now use the cup.
Use the container at home and outside, e.g., by carrying the cup in a bag or luggage during travel.

Yes, you can use the cap for up to 12 hours, both during the day and at night, also while lying down. Just remember to empty it just before going to sleep and right after waking up.
If correctly inserted, the menstrual cup should not leak. If a leak occurs, you have to try to identify the cause. The most common issues include incorrect size, incorrect application that prevents the cup from correctly unfolding, blocked holes or simply overfilling.
You will need water or intimate wipes to empty and clean the cup. It will be even easier if you use the container supplied with the my bella cup. Pour water from the tap or a bottle into the container, close it and shake it vigorously for several seconds. That’s all – you can now use the cup! Remember to wash your hands before each use.
It all depends on how heavy your flow is. For very heavy flows, the cup should be emptied every 3–5 hours. When the flow is lighter, you can keep using it for up to 12 hours. However, this is the limit – make sure not to exceed it to maintain proper hygiene and safeguard your health.
There are no contraindications to using the cup during physical effort. However, we recommend emptying it before exercise and immediately after. Remember that if you observe any leaks during normal use, you are much more likely to observe them also during exercise.
A correctly sized and applied cup will not fall out on its own. Remember that the vacuum effectively holds the cup in your vagina. If the cup is too small, it may slide down and make it seem like it is about to fall out, but this is very unlikely.
This is not possible, although you may have that impression when you cannot feel the cup. Remember that the most important thing is to relax – stress acts to your disadvantage, contracting the muscles further. Relax and start to alternately contract and loosen your muscles. Then, grab the base of the cup with your fingers, and compress it gently to peel the sides off the vaginal walls and remove the vacuum.
The cup should be sanitized before and after each period. You can do this by using the included my bella container. Fill the container with water and place it without a lid in a microwave at 850 W for 5 minutes. You can also scald the cup in boiling water for about 3 minutes.
On the packaging of products, such as sanitary napkins, panty liners and tampons, you can see the marking:
It is to clearly indicate where used hygiene products should go and illustrate the consequences of their improper disposal.
Thanks to proper segregation, we contribute to reducing the amount of waste of hygiene products thrown into toilets and, consequently, ending up in the seas and oceans.
